Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2009-2010 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact (Resident Life in the Pinecrest Building at 570-662-4934, Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm).

* 19 meals per week +$200 flex-1 meal per zone up to 3 * 14 meals per week +$200 flex –1 meal per zone up to 3 * 10 meals per week +$200 flex –1 meal per zone up to 3 * 175 block per semester +$200 flex – 1 meal per zone up to 4 per day Off-Campus and Commuters Only * 75 block per semester +$200 flex – 1 meal per zone up to 4 per day * Flex only – to open initial account $50.00 and add in increments of $25.00 anytime during the semester * Block usage is defined as (1) meal per meal zone. Zones are defined as Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late night Monday – Friday. Saturday and Sunday there are 2 zones Brunch and Dinner for a total of 24 per week. Having Trouble Selecting a Meal Plan? Try considering your daily routine. Do you eat three meals a day? Will your class schedule, studying, extracurricular activities and social events interfere with dining? Will you miss dinner due to employment or evening classes? Anticipating the answers to these and similar questions will help you to select a meal plan that best fits your lifestyle.

Important Info

Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works: (every time you enter the dining hall the greeter will swipe your meal card. Each swipe is equal to one meal and will decline after each meal. This card also contains you flex dollars which is a declining balance similar to a debit card. You may use flex at any of our dining locations. Flex dollars can be added in increments of $25.00 any time during the semester.)

Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you… (Lost or stolen meal cards can be replaced for a fee at CCSI in Alumni Hall. But first, call our meal plan office at 4322 to turn off your funds.)

Dining Procedures

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

• Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
• Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
• Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
